Bought this for the fact it’s called khimar. I don’t own many jewellery with an Islamic influence but as soon as I saw this I needed to get it. The design is a reminder that wearing the khimar is like wearing a crown. I get to wear a piece of jewellery that represents my step from wearing normal headscarf to a khimar. It’s a thick band but lightweight and it’s so shiny. Love the personal packaging it came in and the story behind it. Bought the silver one too but the gold looks stunning and love the contrast of the stones with gold colour.
